This is an amazingly refreshing drink

Ingredients

  • 8 oz yogurt, vanilla flavored, low-fat
  • 1 c buttermilk, nonfat
  • 1 oz crystallized ginger (2 pieces)
  • 2 mangos, ripe, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1⁄2 c crushed ice
  • 1 T flax seed meal

Instructions

In the blender purée the fruit, ginger and flax seed meal, scraping down the sides as necessary. Add the buttermilk, yogurt and ice and purée (puree) until smooth and frothy. Add crushed ice. Serve.
