<ing><amt><qty>0.5</qty><unit>c</unit></amt><item>water, very cold</item></ing>
<ing><amt><qty>1</qty><unit></unit></amt><item>egg</item></ing>
    </ingredients>
    <directions>1.  Chill all ingredients and bowls

2.  Mix together, flour, sugar and salt. Cut in the shortening. 

3.  In a small bowl add vinegar, cold water and egg, stir with fork till well blended. 

4.  Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well with large spoon or by hand. Divide into 4 balls, refrigerate for 15 minuets (up to a week)

5.  Remove one ball at a time and roll into flat circle to fit pie pan. Bake at 400 till golden brown or follow baking direction for your favorite pie.</directions>
