Tempranillo/Rioja Wine Pairing

In Rioja, Tempranillo contributes earthy cherry flavors and firm structure. It generally produces medium-bodied, firm reds suitable for meat dishes of all kinds, particularly lamb, veal, and pot roast. It also pairs well with duck, salmon and Ahi Tuna. Its a good match for Mexican food that isn’t overly spicy.
