Nutella Molten Lava Cake

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons (1¼ stick) butter
  • 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cups confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ a cup of Nutella
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Frangelico or Amaretto

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Grease 6 small custard cups.
  3. Melt both chocolates, Nutella and butter in the microwave, or in a double boiler.
  4. Add the flour and sugar to chocolate mixture. Stir in the eggs and yolks until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the custard cups.
  6. Bake in oven for exactly 14 minutes.
  7. Edges should be firm and the center will be runny.
  8. Run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto dessert plates.
  9. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
