  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-ounce chocolate, melted
  • ¾ cup walnuts
  • 9 graham crackers
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 13x9x2” baking pan.
  2. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until the sugar is well incorporated. Adds eggs and beat well.
  4. Add milk, vanilla and then sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture.
  5. Place 1/3 of the batter into a small bowl. Add the melted chocolate and nuts to this and mix thoroughly.  Spread this brownie batter in a thin layer in the prepared pan.
  6. Arrange graham crackers over the batter.
  7. Ad chocolate chips to the remaining batter. Drop batter by spoonfuls over the graham crackers and spread to cover graham crackers.
  8. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until top is golden brown and a tester comes out clean.
  9. Cool, then cut into squares to serve.
