Italian Marinade Recipe for Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 cup really good olive extra virgin oil
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon full flavor molasses
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoon dried shallots
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ of an entire red pepper, finely diced

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar.  Shake vigorously!
  2. Keep in the fridge for up to one month.

This marinade also can be used on fish, beef, lamb and vegetables
