Removing the shell from older eggs seems easier than newer ones. So often in either case, some of the egg still sticks to the shell. I’m flummoxed. What do I do?

To make an egg easy to peel, add ½ teaspoon of baking soda to the water before boiling the eggs.
This works because baking soda raises the eggs’ PH level of the water and makes them easier to peel. Just drop one-half of a teaspoon of baking soda to the water in a pan and then boil your egg as usual.
